Milostan Creativity offers keynotes, workshops, and  Artist in Residence programs  to corporations and community organizations that want to re-ignite their creative spark.  Children, teens, and senior adults need creative expression in their lives. 

You can also arrange to have personal coaching sessions for creative expression tailored to fit your needs.   In addition to my own topics, I have coached individuals and led numerous groups based on the following books:

ART ESCAPES  FIELD TRIP - Cantigny Gardens, Winfield, IL

Join Christine Milostan on Saturday, July 9,10 a.m. till 12 noon for a floral escape  to Cantigny Gardens and Museum at 1 South 151 Winfield Rd. in Wheaton.  Spend two hours creating impressions inspired by the landscapes of the gardens.  If you have never tried plein air watercolor journaling, this can be a wonderful, relaxing experience. 

Workshop includes techniques to get the creative juices flowing, hints for sketching/visual journaling. After the workshop, you may stay (facility offers picnic grounds and restaurant) and spend more time touring the property at your leisure.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for this on site creative experience!   Workshop cost is $20.00 per person. (does not include park entry fee, checks payable to Milostan Creativity; Paypal payment also accepted,$3.50 service fee will be applied).  Supply list and additional information will be sent after registration is received.   Email us  for information and registration.

Tao of Watercolors - Par t One

Overcome your fear of watercolor painting by learning to combine Eastern philosophy with a variety of watercolor techniques.  Participants will learn how to paint from their inner spirit and “go with the flow” of mindful, meditative, painting.  Loose yourself as you find your true expression. No previous art experience is necessary; this course offers inspiring and empowering advice for all artists especially beginning artists ready to take the plunge into watercolors. Students will provide own art supplies and also need to purchase textbook resource.

Tao of Watercolors - Part Two 

Continue on the path of mindful painting.  Each week participants will revisit and build confidence of Tao principles while learning a new technique to spark your artistic imagination.  In this session you will also learn how to mat and prepare your art for exhibits and shows.  Students must have taken Tao of Watercolors Part I.  Bring watercolor paper, paints and supplies, textbook to first class.

Stunning Silk Scarves

Express your creativity in your wardrobe!  Silk scarves are wonderful accessories that can lift your spirits and add a dash of artistic drama to your appearance. Learn basic dyeing techniques that will allow you to create a beautiful hand painted scarf in a few hours!  Creative ways to tie and wear your new scarf will also be demonstrated. No art experience in necessary.  GREAT FOR GIFT GIVING!

                  Supplies:  An iron, a small hair dryer, old towels, one plastic tablecloth, one  large plastic garbage bag
